Privacy Policy
Last updated August 20, 2026
Social Publisher ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Cricket 360. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including when you connect a third-party account such as Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok, or Telegram to Social Publisher.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to anyone who creates an account on Social Publisher, and to anyone whose social media account is connected to Social Publisher by an authorized user (for example, a business's Facebook Page or TikTok account).
2. Information we collect
We collect only what's needed to operate the service:
- Your account details: name, email address, and password (stored as an irreversible hash, never in plain text) for logging into Social Publisher itself.
- Connected platform data: when you authorize a platform (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok, Telegram), we receive and store an access token and basic profile information (such as your Page/account ID, username, or display name) needed to publish on your behalf.
- Content you create: the captions, images, and videos you compose or schedule, and a record of where and when they were published, including success or error status for each platform.
- Basic usage/log data: standard web server logs (e.g. IP address, timestamps) used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect data from anyone who has not created an account or connected a platform through an authorized user of this service.
3. How we use your information
- To publish or schedule the content you create to the platforms you've explicitly connected.
- To show you the status and history of your posts (success, errors, scheduling).
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To communicate with you about your account if needed (e.g. a critical service issue).
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or connected-platform data to any third party.
4. TikTok data specifically
When you connect a TikTok account, Social Publisher requests only the permissions needed to publish content on your behalf (such as basic account identification and content posting). Data obtained through TikTok's API is:
- used solely to enable you to publish or schedule content to your own connected TikTok account;
- never used for any purpose beyond providing this publishing functionality — not for advertising, profiling, or any other use;
- not shared with any third party except a service provider strictly necessary to deliver the post (see "Third-party services" below);
- deleted from our systems as soon as you disconnect the TikTok account from Social Publisher, or upon request (see "Your choices" below).
5. Third-party services we rely on
To publish to some platforms, Social Publisher sends your content through the official APIs of Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), X, TikTok, Telegram, and — for some connections — Buffer, a social media publishing provider we use as a processor to deliver posts to X and TikTok. Each of these platforms processes data under its own privacy policy in addition to this one.
6. Data storage and security
Access tokens for connected accounts are encrypted at rest in our database. Access to the application is restricted to authenticated users, and connections are only usable by the account that created them.
7. Data retention and deletion
We retain connected-account data for as long as the connection remains active. Disconnecting a platform (available at any time from the Connections page) immediately deletes its stored access token and account details from our systems. You may also request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us — see "Contact us" below.
8. Your choices
- Disconnect any platform at any time from the Connections page — this immediately revokes our access and deletes the stored credentials.
- Request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
9. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
10. Children's privacy
Social Publisher is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
12. Contact us
